Being a relatively small critical care unit, having the opportunity to take part in a multinational research project like GenOMICC has been enormously beneficial. Knowing that our patients and staff have the ability to contribute to improving patient care worldwide is hugely gratifying and really helps to boost staff wellbeing and morale.
Recruitment to GenOMICC has been a very simple process, and the support that we have had from the study team whenever we have needed it has been incredible.
